One-Day Albany Art & Culture Tour

9:00 AM Arrive at the Albany Heritage Area Visitors Center for an orientation to the history of New York's capital city. Tour the exhibit gallery and the USS Albany display; view a 15 minute orientation film, "Albany: A Cultural Crossroads" or see a planetarium show and take time to explore the shop for Distinctive Albany items and unique gifts.	10:00 AM Take a guided tour of one of Albany's unique mansions and gardens reflecting on the art work and antiques in these historic homes. Looking for something unique? Take a guided tour of the Hudson River Walkway, a pedestrian bridge that connects downtown with one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork in the trompe l'oeil style made famous by the Dutch.	11:30 AM Enjoy lunch at a group-friendly restaurant in downtown Albany or en route to a theater performance or museum.
2:00 PM See a matinee performance at Capital Repertory Theater, Proctor's Theatre (west of Albany), the Times Union Center, The Egg, or the Cohoes Music Hall (just north of Albany), Albany Symphony Orchestra, or visit the Albany Institute of History & Art and experience collections that highlight more than four centuries of art and culture of the Upper Hudson Valley Region.	5:00 PM Take a relaxing dinner cruise aboard one of the region's cruise ships or stop at one of our convenient group dining spots located along the area's many highways.	7:30 PM Depart for home.
