Indian Ladder Farms, tucked in Altamont, is a 100-year-old farm and orchard. Situated at the base of the scenic Helderberg Escarpment, the family-owned farm is a must-visit fall destination. Popular with locals, it is a go-to spot for pick-your-own apples in September and October. There may be long lines, but Indian Ladder's freshly-baked apple cider doughnuts are definitely worth the wait. Kids will have bushels of fun petting the farm animals and parents will love sipping on "farm to glass" hard cider or craft beer from Indian Ladder Farms Cidery & Brewery. Once October rolls around, the farm also offers pick-your-own pumpkins.

Stanton’s Feura Farm, located in the scenic Onesquethaw Creek Valley within the town of New Scotland, is a third-generation family farm. Each September and October, the farm offers pick-your-own apples and pumpkins. Weekends are packed with family-friendly fun including hay rides, corn mazes, straw slides and more! Munch on warm, homemade apple cider donuts and sip on hot apple cider while enjoying the seasonal activities. Looking to quickly pick up a few farm fresh veggies?
