   The ship is called the Half Moon...a reproduction of the ship that Henry Hudson sailed from Holland to the New World in 1609. Tours will begin again the end of September, for three weekends only with school tours in between. Visit their website for more details...

   Sarah, The Aqua Ducks are boarded at the Albany Visitors Center at the corner of Clinton Ave. and Broadway in Albany. You will LOVE the "duck" tour. Don't forget to stop in at the visitors center first, they have tons of info on things to do in Albany.

   Just a reminder that the East Greenbush Dog Park is now open and being used and enjoyed by many residents and their dogs. It is located in the East Greenbush Town Park off of Elliot Rd. The hours of operation are 8:00am until Dusk. Permits and informational pamphlets regarding the Dog Park can be found at the Town Clerk’s office. Please call if you have any questions.

    The East Greenbush Department for Youth Services and Recreation proudly announces: Music in the Park Each summer, the East Greenbush Department for Youth Services and Recreation organizes a concert series that takes place every Tuesday night in August from 6 to 8 pm. The concerts are held at Onderdonk Memorial Park, located on Hampton Avenue. This concert series, called “Music in the Park”, encourages friends, families and neighbors to join together in celebrating the summer season by enjoying the music, the outdoors, and the company. All are invited to attend these concerts. You may come just for the music, or you may stroll around Hampton Manor, enjoying the music. This is also a great way to show your pride and support for the East Greenbush Community.

    The Dublin Underground {formerly Savannahs' at the corner of State and So. Pearl St.} will be a traditional Irish pub with indoor/outdoor seating, Irish castle stonework along the inside, and walls with mohogany wood behind the bar. The ceiling will be raised in the back of the bar by six feet with a cobblestone walkway throughout except for a wood dance floor in front of the stage. The stage will be built out by two feet and raised by six inches. There will be a waterfall behind the bar and over twenty beers put on tap...the staff has as much fun as the guests and the food is better than ever! For late night cravings...I highly recommend the bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich...thanks Pete and Joe! Four stars aren't even enough :) Join them every Thursday, this summer, for alive after five! They are only a block away from the Hudson Riverfront.
