Overview
Located in the heart of Albany at the intersection of I-87 and I-90/NY State Thruway, Stuyvesant Plaza is the premier open-air retail destination in New York’s state capital region. Stuyvesant Plaza was founded in 1959 and was one of the earliest retail centers of its kind in the country. Since then, the Plaza has attracted generations of loyal customers. As a convenient waypoint between New York City and upstate attractions such as the Adirondacks, it serves travelers and locals alike with its category-spanning mix of businesses.
Today, Stuyvesant Plaza is home to more than 60 shops and restaurants, including Circles, Josie’s Table, Jean Paul Salon & Spa, Primal: Your Local Butcher, Pottery Barn, Bountiful Bread, Talbots, The Book House, BARE Blends and Lola Saratoga. With a bakery, a butcher shop, a local clothing boutique and so much more, the Plaza remains a beloved tradition and a daily ritual in the community.
