All-Hallow E'en Art Path
On view 24/7, all October long!Families are welcome to embark on a Halloween adventure all October long in downtown Albany! Follow the All-Hallow E'en Art Path along Maiden Lane outside of Albany Center Gallery. Then travel to see the path continue in Quackenbush Square outside the Discover Albany Visitors Center. Festive window displays and outside murals showcase everything from cats on a trick-or-treat promenade to colorful "emotoblobs" representing different emotions that float around in our heads.
Pumpkin Party on the Hill
October 12 | 12 PM to 3 PMGet pumped for this kid-friendly Halloween event at Historic Cherry Hill. Enjoy a pumpkin carving demonstration and do some pumpkin decorating of your own! View stunning jack-o-lanterns created by Albany artists and cast your vote for your favorite during Cherry Hill's second annual pumpkin decorating contest. October 19 | 10:30 AM to 11:30 AMChildren's story "The Pink Ghost" comes to life at this painting event designed for little artists ages 2 to 6 years old. Hosted by the Pottery Place in Stuyvesant Plaza, kids will hear the story of the Pink Ghost which follows themes of finding your own way and standing up to bullies. Then, they'll get to paint their own pink ghost figurine to take home in one week's time!

The tour touches on phantoms and figures who lurk in local sites such as the Olde English Pub and Capitol Building.
Haunted Tales from the Crow's Wood
October 19 | 6:30 PM to 8 PMSit around the campfire at Crailo State Historic Site and listen to haunted tales told the way those of the region in the 18th-century would.
