Restaurant Appreciation Month is back! We want to show our amazing Albany County restaurants some love! From Downtown Albany, to Guilderland, to Colonie, Albany County would not be the same without the restaurants, many of them locally-owned, as cornerstones in our vibrant community. To show our appreciation for the vital contribution to our destination that these restaurants make, we are declaring February as Restaurant Appreciation Month in Albany County. 

How Capital Region Locals Can Participate

It is simple! Show your love for your favorite Albany County restaurants throughout the month of February with takeout, curbside pickup, delivery or dine-in. Email a screenshot or photo of your receipts to info@albany.org until 11:59 PM on February 28. Every receipt you submit is another entry for you to win a prize and for your favorite restaurants to be entered in for a chance to win. Submit as many receipts from as many restaurants in Albany County as you would like! On March 1, we will randomly draw one winning patron and one winning restaurant to receive prizes. 

We also encourage Capital Region locals to share photos of their food and takeout on social media! Use #LoveAlbanyRestaurants to help spread the word about Restaurant Appreciation Month and show your love for your favorite restaurants.

1. May I submit a receipt from more than one restaurant?

Yes! We encourage it! Submit as many receipts from as many restaurants in Albany County throughout the month of February as you would like. Email screenshots or photos of receipts to info@albany.org. 

2. What restaurants qualify for Restaurant Appreciation Month?

All restaurants in Albany County open for either takeout, curbside pickup, dine-in or delivery. 

3. If I am the winning patron, does that mean that the restaurant I submitted a receipt for also wins?

Not necessarily. There will be two separate drawings. One drawing for the winning restaurant and one drawing for the winning patron. Restaurants can be entered to win multiple times (from multiple submitted receipts). Patrons can also be entered to win multiple times (from multiple submitted receipts).
